Darren is known as a thought leader in creativity, technology, and innovation, and over the past decade has been inspiring people in the industry with his books, articles, and speaking events. He has led some of the most award-winning agencies in the world as the Chief Creative and Managing Director, bridging the gap between traditional and digital creative in various countries including the UK, the United States, the Netherlands, Canada, and Germany.

Darren previously served as Global ECD & Global Chief Creative Technologist at VMLY&R (WPP) and European ECD & Managing Director at Havas Europe. He has also been lucky enough to work on some on the world’s most iconic brands, such as adidas, Axe, BBC, Braun, Mars Group, Microsoft, Nike, P&G, Sky, and Smart, and won hundreds of awards in shows such as Cannes, LIA, Eurobest, Webby, D&AD, ADC, New York Festivals and One Show.

Having started his career over 20 years ago as a programmer—working his way in to creativity, advertising, and marketing—Darren’s background has given him a unique perspective on marketing, innovation, and commerce.
